Privacy Policy, in plain English

This website (191 Metres, at calgary-tower-tickets-online.com) is an independent reading guide operated from Calgary, Alberta. There are no user accounts, no shopping carts, no payment forms, and no newsletter sign-up boxes.

1. How we follow PIPEDA

We handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA): we collect only what is strictly necessary to serve the web page or reply to an email you send us, we never sell or rent visitor data, and you may ask us to delete any correspondence at any time.

2. Standard server logs

Like every web server, our host records routine technical logs when your browser requests a page: IP address, date and time, requested URL, and browser user-agent string. These logs are used solely to keep the server secure and diagnose broken links, and are automatically rotated and deleted.

3. What advertising cookies do

This website itself does not load third-party analytics trackers, behavioural remarketing pixels, or social media tracking buttons. However, we occasionally run small search advertisements (for example on Google Search) to help visitors find this guide. When you click an ad on a search engine, the advertising platform may set or read its own cookies in your browser (or pass an ad-click identifier in the URL) to measure ad delivery and prevent click fraud. Those cookies are governed by the search platform's own privacy settings, which you can clear or block in your browser at any time. Our server may also set a single short-lived functional cookie (_rt) to route returning requests cleanly; see our Cookies page.

4. A word about how some visitors found this page

If you arrived here from a search advertisement: please remember that 191 Metres is an independent guide and is not affiliated with the Calgary Tower or its operators. We never sell tickets or ask for payment card details. For official ticketing, visit calgarytower.com.
